Application Guide

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for an Inverness Garden Club scholarship an applicant must either live in coastal West Marin, CA or be a graduate of Tomales High School, and must have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA.  Read our eligibility requirements »
DEADLINE:

Current students: February 15, 2017. Applications received later than February 15, 2017, are not eligible for consideration.

New applicants and graduate scholars: March 1, 2017. Applications received later than March 1, 2017, are not eligible for consideration.

HOW TO BEGIN: If you are a new applicant, you must register for a student account on this website in order to apply. Once your account has been approved, you can log in to your new account and complete the application. Register for a student account here »

First Time Applicants

All high school graduates or current college students who are applying for the first time are required to complete an application form which includes personal, financial and scholastic data, and to submit two short essays, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts, ACT and SAT scores if taken, a personal photo, and the EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) from their FAFSA or CA Dream Act application.

Current Scholars and Graduate Scholars

Current scholarship recipients and graduate scholars are required to complete a Reapplication Form that includes personal and financial data, including the EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) from their current FAFSA or CA Dream Act application, and to submit one personal essay. Awards are contingent upon receipt of official documentation of satisfactory completion of units and grades.
