Celebrate the relaxed family lifestyle and history of Old Inverness by joining friends for COCKTAILS IN THE GARDEN immediately following the tour.   In the golden twilight you will toast summers past and present with a glass of award winning wine from Point Reyes Vineyards.

The sophisticated international rhythms of guitarist Bart Hopkin and clarinetist Dale Polissar lift your spirits as you approach the luxuriant open lawn area of the welcoming shingle style house.  Festive tables display locally grown and produced organic foods and the fresh flavors for which West Marin is renowned:  artisan cheeses from Cowgirls Creamery, veggies from Paradise Valley Farms accompanied by a dip of Point Reyes Blue Cheese, burgers of grass fed beef from Sun Valley Farms, BBQ’ed oysters from Drake’s Bay Oysters, and grass fed beef carpaccio and artichokes from Joe Lunny’s ranch.

Ticket price for COCKTAILS IN THE GARDEN is $75 per person including use of the shuttle service, wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres ($50 is tax deductible).   Space is limited; please reserve early.

 
     
     
 

Be sure to be in Inverness on Friday evening, June 9 to join a group of 16 in the banquette room for THE FRIDAY NIGHT FEAST at Manka's Inverness Lodge.  You will dine royally on a six course dinner of locally foraged, farmed and fished foods artfully prepared by Margaret Grade and chef, Daniel DeLong and carefully paired with exquisite wines crafted in West Marin.  This acclaimed cuisine is indeed “fit for a prince” and was enjoyed by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall during their 3 day stay at Manka’s in 2005. The price for THE FRIDAY NIGHT FEAST is $250 ($175 is tax
deductible) with space limited to the first 16 paid and confirmed
reservations.

The Inverness Garden Club Scholarship Fund expresses great and most sincere thanks to Margaret Grade, proprietor of Manka's, for her generosity in donating the full price of the Feast to benefit our scholarship awards program.
